2013 VITA Grant Application Now Available

IRS has announced that application instruction packages are now available on IRS.gov for the 2013 Volunteer Income Tax Assistance and Tax Counseling for the Elderly grant programs.

The application period extends from May 1 through May 31, 2012. IRS will be hosting an informational webinar to go through the package and answer your questions.

Pilot program will seek to identify ineligible EITC claimants and eligible individuals who do not claim the EITC through state data.
