NCTC To Assume Management Responsibility for EITC Platform in 2013

EITC PlatformNCTC and the Aspen Institute Economic Opportunities Program (EOP) are pleased to announce the transition of the EITC Platform from Aspen EOP to NCTC.

Available to the free tax preparation field since 2007, the EITC Platform was developed as a project of the Aspen Institute EOP with NCTC’s partnership, sponsored by the Annie E. Casey Foundation and powered by CCA Global Partners. Its track record of providing top quality and much-needed resources to VITA programs has proven it an invaluable tool in the ongoing effort to strengthen our members’ service to lower-income families.

As of January 1, 2013, NCTC will assume full responsibility for the administration of the Platform. NCTC is grateful to the Aspen Institute EOP for its years of dedicated work developing and enhancing the platform itself, as well as the many valuable tools it hosts.

NCTC’s pledge is to continue the proud tradition of the EITC Platform, ensuring that our members and practitioners of VITA receive the high level of quality tools and service they are accustomed to.  Note that all EITC Platform registered user login and password information will remain the same and there will be no disruption in access to the Platform or the Quality Review Training.
